1/18 Custom Hand Built Diorama by Roderick Diorama's Dixie Automotive Repair

You are viewing a 1/18 scale hand built custom diorama by Roderick Diorama's.  Dixie Automotive Repair is 36 1/2" long X 24 1/2" deep X 16 1/2" tall with the roof closed and 28 3/4" tall with the roof completely open.  This diorama weighs 42 pounds.  There are three bays in the shop and all three die casts in the pictures ARE INCLUDED IN THIS SALE. The 1957 Bel Air convertible on the two post lift is not attached,  the other two cars are attached.  All the figurines are attached and not removable. There is a store room, a bath room (with water heater, toilet, and urinal all hand made) and a front office. There is space in front of the building for more diecast vehicles to be displayed.
The top portion of the side and back walls are stick built (note the electric wires inside the studs).  The chain fall and the trouble light with retractable spool ( both are non functional) were hand built as were the garage doors ( fixed position), the tire rack with fan belts and radiator hoses, and also the oil change can under the 1957 Chevy.  There are pneumatic air  lines on the back, and left walls in the shop with three air stations with shut off handles that are in the fixed position on or off.
THIS DIORAMA IS NOT A TOY.  This display is a artistic representation of a 1970's automotive repair shop in the South.
