18K 750 Italian Yellow Gold Texted Swirl Wave Design Ring w/Red Stone - 6.5 Gr

The is a beautiful, scalloped/twisted/swirl/textured design ring gold ring with a red stone that has 2 separate marks.  The first says 750 (18 kt) in a polygonal shape and the other is also in a polygonal shape that has a star, 27 or 207 and then VI.  The strike for the 2nd mark was not very deep so it's hard to make out.  Based on a little research, I believe it is Italian made.  I think this ring is vintage and maybe older but I can't say for sure.  That being said, it is in very good condition, nicely reflective, with no bends, dent, scratches, discoloration, etc.  I really don't see any issues or concerns besides needing a gentle cleaning (but it really could be worn as it is).  The ring has a prong set red, faceted, sparkling stone in the center that is very reflective.  On the back of the stone, it has gold foil so I thought it was a rhinestone at first but then wondered why you would put a rhinestone in an 18k gold setting?!?  I took a close-up photo so you could see what I am trying to describe.  So, there you have it.  The ring weighs 6.5 grams including the stone of course and it's about a size 7 3/4.  I've taken various photos so please take a look and please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
