Check it out...Here's a classic set of from the 1940s WWII Era Indiana World War Memorial in Indianapolis, Indiana. One is an 11" tall by 8" wide foldout brochure style booklet that features an image of the massive monument & reads: "The Indiana World War Memorial Indianapolis, Indiana. General View From Model of Completed Project" on front -Has a detailed history of the memorial with lots of great real photo pictures inside (including GREAT close-ups!) and a list of the trustees from several districts as well as the names of past trustees inside too-Has only light wear, One is a 9" tall by 4" wide 1945 World War II Era (Dated on front) brightly colored RWB official map of Indiana (& Indianapolis) given away by the State Highway Commission at State & County Fairs back in the day-Map pictures a vintage image of the Indiana War Memorial titled: "1945 Indiana Official Highway Map Ralph F. Gates Governor" on front and has info about no passing zones listed / illustrated on back- Has the fully detailed map inside- The map has heavy wear, damage at the folds and soiling expected from normal use and age on front- If you are looking a for a mint version, this ain't it- But if you're looking for a GREAT World War II Era map with real character, this is the one, there are 2 (TWO!) different @ 9" tall by 4" wide multi-paged booklet style brochures from the 1947 Era and another foldout brochure from the 1970s Era Indiana World War Memorial in Indianapolis, Indiana (Two brochures here!) I try and place a penny in every photo to help judge the size of the item, obviously it is there for size comparison and is not included with the item. Many of the items are VINTAGE and although they are in very fine condition, they may not function as well as when they were made decades ago. So if you intend on using the old item, please be aware that we are selling it for collector value only. In other words, if you intend on using a 50+ year old letter opener and it breaks, don't get mad at us. It may be hard to believe, but we have received a couple negatives because people broke vintage items while trying to use them.
