    Description

    Rare vintage Bulgarian student cap from the late 1960's. This hat is emblematic of communist times as part of the school uniform and is a mandatory accessory worn during only formal occasions and celebrations. In addition, this type of hats has never changed over the years.
    It is made of wool with green wool fabric on top and a brass lion cockade on the front. Similar hats were worn by the Bulgarian militia - fighting against the Ottoman slavery imposed in Bulgaria.
