A Wonderful Original Pair of Antique Georgian Victorian Gold Wedding Bracelets it's very rare to see a pair still together, from the Vintage 19th Century.
These antique bracelets date to the late Georgian to Victorian Era and are composed of antique gold filled.
Matched pair, different engraving to both front and back.
The bracelets are hinged bangles with a push release button on the side of the opening.  Appear to have had safety chains at one point, both are gone.
These hinged bangles are a piece of fashion history that represent traditions of times past. In the Mid to late 1800's it was traditional to give the bride a bracelet at the time of engagement, and then the matching one at the time of the wedding. It is a pleasure to have this set in the Estate Jewelry Section of our shop.
