    This is a 3 ½ inch long Hoekaspis trilobite from Boliviadating back to the Mid-Ordovician Period some 461 to 466 million years ago.
    These trilobites are found in very hard rock nodules thathad to be broken open to expose the trilobite.
    This would often result in damaged or missing parts. Even though thisHoekaspis is repaired, it is one of the most complete that I everacquired.
    There is no restoration onlypieces glued back together.
