Antique Ethiopian Beta Israel Star of David, Yemenite Coral and Antique Yemenit

This necklace combines elements of jewelry rooted in two centers of Jewish Diaspora. The centerpiece Magen David (star of David) Pendant is of the Ethiopian, Beta Israel, origin. The antique silver beads, as well as the old natural coral beads are from Yemen. The necklace features antique silver endcones traditional for old middle-eastern jewelry.
The necklace is 26" long without the pendant. The pendant is 2.5" long, including the dangles, and 1.75 inches wide at the widest point. Their exact silver content is unknown, but traditionally Yemenite silver is 950 parts of silver alloyed with 50 parts of copper. These beads are very old, and show their age. They are irregular in size and shape.
