Beautiful Persian Miniature Painting on Decorative Background in a Khatam (inlai

For sale here is a wonderful Persian miniature oval painting of 4 polo players.  The oval painting is probably on celluloid (bone?), and measures about 3" x 5."  It sits atop a beautiful red, white and blue hand decorated background.  The viewable artwork measures 4 1/2" x 6 1/2."   The entire piece is then framed in a khatam (inlaid) wooden frame.  I see no artist signature on the oval painting.  The back features an easel stand, making it easy to display on a desk/table top or on a bookcase shelf.   I am unsure of the age of this piece.  Although pre-owned, it was well cared for by it's previous owner.  It's an absolutely lovely decorator piece!!!
