    Offered is a very unusual and well preserved item for the specialist echinoderm collector; a complete 6cm X 4cm
    example of the benthic Solute carpoid
    Jeffrieocystis coxi,
    from the Lower Ordovician; Dariwillian, Hope Shales of Minsterley, Shropshire.
    This sharp specimen is undamaged and shows fine detail of the  elongated peripheral border plates, the internal pentagonal plates, the site of arm attachment and the small circular structure containing triagonal plates. A rare carpoid found at only one site in Shropahire.  Matrix approx. 15cm X 10cm X 3cm (weight 0.6kg)
