Egyptian Bedouin Cuff adorned with applied Egyptian Motifs: Scarabs (1/2” x 3/8”), Males with the Nemes Headcloth/Headdress, Sun Hieroglyphs, & more.
~ Series of 3 Hallmark Stamps located on the front: 1) Purity/Fineness Mark (I couldn’t find this exact mark as info on Egypt’s marks is limited and sketchy, but the piece tests positive for sterling) 2) Lotus Flower (country mark for Egypt) 3) Date Mark that was used from 1943-44.
~ While researching Egyptian marks, I read the following in several places:
"Egyptian assay marks are not always precise & actual fineness can be something in between standard grades."

with minor surface wear considering the age! The cuff has heavy, original sterling Patina which adds so much character. Please view all photos to judge for yourself.
