    Description

This beautiful hand spinning prayer wheel has been handmade by talented artisan in Bhutan. The wheel is crafted with the mantra OM MANI PADME HUM in brass on the outside of the wheel as well as on the scroll inside. Small beads of red and blue jade decorate the wheel. The auspicious dorje symbol is etched into the copper bottom.
Bhutanese prayer wheel is a common religious object in our culture. They can be found in all size in home, monasteries, temples and even alongside the road. Prayer Wheels are used to spread spiritual blessings and prayers. Bhutanese believe that the prayers ascend to the heavens in order to heal all. The special prayers or mantras are “mechanically” recited many times over every time the wheel is spinned in a clockwise motion.
