Handmade Hammered Molded Brass Middle Eastern Ceremonial Water Pitcher in a used condition with patina.
There are small holes present in the weld joint in the bottom. My friend says the Pitcher is probably made in Turkey and was used to ceremonially wash hands with water before a meal. The forged brass pitcher is welded and completely tooled by hand. It has very elaborate figural detailing throughout. Previous owner had a beautiful floral arrangement in the pitcher.
Would make a great display piece or for room décor. Dimensions: H: 8-1/2”; L: 10-7/8” (Handle, etc.); Dia.: 7-1/2”.
