This a old vintage metal sign/display from the Michigan Fire & Marine of Detroit. Michigan. The outer dimension of the sign/display is 12.0" X 18.0"
and the
top of the sign has the company name on it. The buttom portion was designed to place inserts, such as calendars, advertising information about the insurance company, the agengy name, or whatever the agent might want to display in it. The insert included in the picture is simply one I printed up, to display how this sign could be used.
The sign/advertising display is from the mid 1900's. It is of steel/tin construction with etched in letters and border, which are painted black. It is made by the Goodman Company of New York. The front surface
of the sign is in good condition for it's age, with only/marking minor scuffing. Overall, the sign's appearance has a great look about it.
This would make an excellent addition for any collector of insurance company memorabilia, an agent/broker, insurance company employee/retiree, or sign collector in general.
