This extravagant mid-century cocktail/dinner ring features twenty-six round brilliant diamonds in a tiered, four-armed pinwheel design that rises 1/2-inch above the finger. Radiant with dozens of tiny, constantly shifting points of light across the ring's showy 3/4 x 1/2-inch face, the tightly clustered diamonds combine with the highly three-dimensional pinwheel design to create a dazzling presentation with a conspicuous sense of motion. The yellow gold shank opens at the shoulders to sweep in graceful by-pass style opposition, and the 2.5-mm diamonds grade to an average SI1/SI2 in clarity and I in color, with a combined estimated weight of 1.8 carats. In excellent condition, the ring is marked and tests positive for 14k gold, measures a size 8 (sizable) and weighs 4.1 grams.
