Original Victorian Era Carmen expansion bracelet by DFB Co, one of the earliest makers of expansion bracelets in excellent condition.

This bracelet is a more formal design than some, with an open harp face supporting a solid oval plaque centerpiece edged in brilliant rhinestones and monogram plaque. The plaque tests karat gold. Embossed link covers.
Face is 7/8" wide. 1/2" wide. Small wrist, 2" across the junction from expansion to harp.  1-1/2" across front to back.
The formality of the design and elevated status of the monogram suggests it could have been a wedding gift if not actually one of a pair as wedding bracelets.
