The Syba SY-ENC50118 5-Bay RAID System is a powerful RAID storage management device with flexible connectivity and easy HDD access. SY-ENC50118 offers many RAID options including: RAID 0 (Striping), RAID 1 (Mirroring), RAID 10, RAID 5, JBOD (independent disks) and Combine (Span). The LED indicators provide verification of operating status and drive health/activity.
The tray-less design provides a simple way of HDD removal and installation simply pull the handle to insert or withdraw the HDDs. Airflow is maximized due to the high quality, quiet fans that exhaust air away from the internal HDDs. The thermally efficient aluminum maintains optimal HDD operating temperature, prolonging the life of the HDDs.
Supports all brands of 2.5" and 3.5" SATA I/II/III hard disk drive up to 10TB per drive up to 5 x 10TB. Support hard drive transfer rate up to SATA III
Raid Support: RAID 0, RAID 1, RAID 3, RAID 5, Raid 10, SPAN, and JBOD
eSATA interface requires Port Multiplier w/FIS-based switching on main computer to enable access to multiple HDDs simultaneously
