Description

Bought this to install Microsoft's Flight Simulator, which is included in the auction, on my very first PC. After Flight Sim it found its way to a closet and has been there since. Barely used, super clean and 100% working under the required environment. Took me 2 days to get this running on a newer computer. Came down to getting the lpt ports assigned the correct address(es), IRQ(s) and set to EPP.
Auction includes:
Tandy 25-1087 5.25 1.2Mb External Floppy Drive.
Tandy 250-1087 3.5" Driver Installation Disk.
DOS Bootable Thumbdrive configured for the external drive.
Power Supply adapter cable (see note below). Power supply NOT included.
Microsoft Flight Simulator on 5.25" Floppies.
Note: The external drive uses a lot of power. The largest 12V adapter I had was 3amp and it wasn't enough. There were no issues when drawing power from the PC's power supply with the included jumper cable.
I know the drive works but due to the high probability of incompatibility with newer equipment I am selling this as-is/where is. Please know what you are buying, know what it might take to get it working and ask any questions before making a purchase.
