You are bidding on a 56 year old piece of Insurance memorabilia from the Travelers Life and Accident Insurance Company of Hartford, Conneticut. This beautiful Travelers Bronze Medallion celebrated the Centennial of the 1864 founding of The Travelers Life Insurance Company. 2014 marked the 150th Anniversary of Travelers, so this Bronze Medallion is a "Must Own" piece for any Insurance collector! Insurance advertising give-a-ways have always been prominent, but to find one that celebrates a 100th Anniversary is quite unique! This wonderful brass medallion measures 2 3/4” in diameter, 1/4” thick & weighs 4 ounces. It is in very good condition. The back side of the medallion shows Travelers Home Office with the years 1864 - 1964 and the statement, "A Century Of Insurance Protection - The Travelers”. I displayed this fantastic piece of Travelers memorabilia in my office for close to 40 years!
