    Description

    tibetan buddhist prayer wheel, 10" long, from Nepal, comes with prayer. Purchased in 1969 at a Tibetan refugee camp in Nepal.  Metal is "German Silver", 5% silver with nickel and other metals.  Stamped pattern and polished stones inset into wheel.  Has iron weight at end of chain to make it turn as you turn the handle. Has Buddist prayer on paper inside, still turns as original to send the prayer for peace and tranquility into heaven. Weight less than 1 lb, 10" long, barrel of wheel is 2 1/2" in diameter.
