    Description

    This antique densely hand embroidered Suzani panel is bold and graphic, and the colors are rich.
    Suzanis have traditionally been made in Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Afghanistan and other Central Asian countries.
    They are often used as a wall hanging or to cover belongings are the traditional decoration in the home.
    The ground fabric is a lightweight cotton and overall measurements are 5 feet by 2 1/2 feet. Condition is very good for the age with some slight discoloration. I have some other amazing treasures imported from Central Asia listed separately.
