unprepared Calymene breviceps trilobite from the Waldron Shale Formation from Blue Springs Quarry (filled with water) in Waldron, Indiana, Silurian in age. The trilobite measures a

. The matrix measures 4 1/2” x 3

/4”. As you can see from the pictures, the trilobite
is complete with tight cheeks.
The head is tucked
a bit and is compressed laterally, but will be beautiful when prepared. It was glued back in place as it popped off when collected.
I’d prepare it, but waiting on parts from Crystal Mark. A small amount of trilobite shell is found in the negative and will be an easy glue attachment. As with all unprepared trilobites, buyer understands that it may not turn out and only positive feedback can be left as I recently had a neutral feedback experience (first time ever) and never contacted me. Buyer agrees to conditions when purchasing. This beautiful piece was found about 20 years ago during the time we had a lease on part of the old Blue Springs Quarry outside Waldron, Indiana.
