    Description

Here is a group of 11 bracelets that date from the 1880s to the 1930s and weigh a total of 241.4 grams. One of the oldest has an 1880 patent date on its clasp. These have various maker's marks which can be listed if desired. I believe these are all gold filled and most appear to be in the bangle form. On the last two rows in the gallery photo (& again in a close-up photo) you can see the 3 child-size bracelets. The two watch band style bracelets may date as late as the 1930s. The older bangle style child's bracelet is marked MARATHON KIDDIE KRAFT. Its nice quality to be a child's bracelet and on the front its nicely engraved with the initials M.F.B. The other 8 bracelets all appear to be adult sized. A couple of these have names or monograms neatly engraved. One of the widest bracelets reads Josephine from the exterior and on the interior reads From May. This bracelet looks nice although I can't get the clasp to take hold as it should. It also has a shallow dent in the first part of the word Josephine. Another similar width bracelet has a working clasp but also has a few small tarnish spots. The other wide bracelet shows a few more wear spots to some parts of its gold finish. This and almost all of the remaining bracelets have working clasps. Only one of the most narrow bracelets has an issue with the clasp (which currently will not latch shut as it should). The worst of these bracelets only shows a few tiny dings and/or wear spots from normal wear over the years although all look to be in at least good to very good+ overall condition. Few of these show any notable wear spots on the gold finish.
Any overly bright white spots are just glare/reflections from the light.
I'm starting this lot at per gram although I'm aware that gold filled bracelets individually can easily sell for to + per gram. I just don't have the patience to sell these one bracelet at a time.
