Vintage Belt Buckle Real Gold & Sterling Silver Huge Natural Turquoise Sundance

Description

This beautiful sterling silver belt buckle contains one large freeform natural turquoise stone measuring two and one-half inches wide by one and three quarter inches . It is a cabochon cut , medium lite blue and contains approximately seventeen pieces of pyrite . It is made by Sundance .
There are six nuggets , three on each side soldered to the piece . Two of the nuggets are yellow gold and four are silver . There is a frame around the piece with three scalloped edges on each side . The base of the buckle is engraved with dancing suns and there is beading around the base of the bezel surrounding the turquoise. It is stamped sterling on the back and weighs 6.58oz or 186.5g.
Tentative dating is circa 1950.
