Lovely Vintage Matched Pair of 2
PUPPY DOG FIGURINES
Glazed Ceramic- genuine 1940s, not a repro
Each dog is in an identical pose with one paw raised and tail up. REALLY cute faces and expressions.
Heavy thick ceramic has a shiny glaze and is done in shades of brown, tan, and cream. Dogs have a pink nose which is shaded lighter in the center, and pink cheeks.
Not marked with a maker or manufacturer but I am fairly sure these are from the 1950s and are missing their foil labels which would have said Japan

Excellent Condition
Must have been very carefully looked after because neither piece has any chips, nicks, crazing to glaze, scratches, damage or repairs. Glaze is shiny and colors still very rich and vibrant. Photos are taken in both indoor and outdoor lighting to try to best show their coloration.
An adorable pair, great for a collector and would look charming out on display.
