Vintage retro 14K white gold filigree ring 3.0 ct amethyst solitaire sz 7

Here is this very beautiful early to mid 20th century antique or vintage solid 14 K white gold filigree ring with a large 9 mm round faceted natural amethyst gemstone solitaire , about 3.0 cts this is a beautiful gemstone without scratches or abrasions in a secure vessel setting with two additional large yellow gold prongs on each side that originally probably had a floral design and they are slightly worn yet still holding the gemstone in very securely. The top of the ring measures 12.5 mm north to south and the top of the gemstone sits about 7.5 mm off the finger in a very sturdy handmade filigree design with a yellow gold band around the bezel , the ring has fine engraving down the sides of the band and on the inside it is marked 14 K in two places both on the inside of the band and the underside of the ring .
