Vintage Tribal Kuchi Afghani Nomad Round Silver Metal Shield Belly Dance

Description

This is an old silver metal jewelry component which may have come from Afghanistan.
It is round, concave, and decorated on the outside with an incised design and a central raised boss. There is a bale on each side with copper jump rings.
This item could be incorporated into a belt or other jewelry for a tribal belly dance costume.
The shield is 2.5" in diameter with about a 1/4" deep curvature.
